The General Keeps Fighting for Her Favor (Female-Dominated World)

Novel blurb

Few people are as unlucky as Si Yi.

She had barely lost her job after a glass cliff incident when she received a message from the hospital about a follow-up examination.

Clutching the test report showing her illness had returned, Si Yi stood beside the hospital flowerbed and made a wish to the heavens: as long as she could live, she would do anything.

[Ding! The Wish Exchange System has bound itself to you. The System has successfully matched you with a partner: the Seventh Princess of the Great Jing Kingdom. Her wish is "to return from the dead and ascend the throne as emperor." Since this wish is rather difficult, the System has specially arranged a capable and virtuous minister as a beginner's perk. Host, please choose a suitable minister and work together with them to ascend the throne and become emperor!]

Si Yi knew becoming emperor would be hard, but she never imagined it would be this hard. What gave her the biggest headache was deciding who would become her imperial consort.

The court was divided in endless debate.

Unable to make up her mind, Si Yi went to ask her good and capable minister, Shen Rang.

"If I were to say that I am the best choice for imperial consort, would Your Majesty choose me?"

In terms of family background, Shen Rang came from one of the finest military families.

In terms of looks, Shen Rang had sharp brows and bright eyes, and a handsome, dignified bearing. Even in the capital, where beautiful young gentlemen were everywhere, he stood out.

In terms of talent, Shen Rang was skilled in both letters and arms, and was a great general who could defend the nation and bring peace to the land.

As for their bond, no one could compare to him:

Shen Rang had accompanied her all the way from obscurity to ruling the world.

Exactly! Choosing Shen Rang would silence everyone. But was she crazy? How could she marry Shen Rang?

A capable and virtuous minister should remain a capable and virtuous minister.

A capable and virtuous minister must never become her husband!

1) Not a strong female lead [Important].

2) A romance between two little miseries. The heroine has an ex, the hero is inexperienced, and he begins the story with severe disabilities but recovers later. He pushes his wheelchair around while keeping a close watch on his romantic rivals.

3) The leads have normal body types. The man gives birth (in the extra chapters; it's purely the author's fantastical personal kink). The hero suffers.

Theme: Reconcile with one's family of origin.
