The whole comic was a feel-good revenge story set in a futuristic sci-fi world. The protagonist, Xie Jinran, was a beautiful, strong, tragic man who suppressed his crippled bloodline, found a melodramatic romance, and went from an unfavored youngest prince to seizing the throne and getting his revenge.

The protagonist's past was, of course, as tragic as any Korean webtoon: crippled legs, the loss of his mother, and more. Lin Yun was more concerned with how he was going to pay off the 2,353,277,360 yuan debt he had inherited.

Could any carbon-based lifeform really owe that much? Even his eighteen tentacles couldn't keep track of the numbers.

With his life in danger and a mountain of debt to repay, the little tentacle monster thought of the classic debt plot in Korean webtoons. He needed to find a rich benefactor and cling to his leg.

After searching high and low, he finally found a strong, beautiful leg. Lin Yun hurriedly wrapped his tentacles around his benefactor's leg and refused to let go. Only then did the rotten, smug world-consciousness tell him that his benefactor was none other than the protagonist, Xie Jinran.

...What else could he do? He'd have to sell himself to the protagonist to pay off his debt.

He moved into Xie Jinran's home and took on several jobs at once. One tentacle swept the floor, another did the laundry, and another cooked. He worked hard, ate little, and diligently played the perfect little servant to pay off his debt.

Then one day, the protagonist called Lin Yun into his bedroom. In the warm, dim light of the bedside lamp, Xie Jinran sat half upright on the bed, his face half-lit and breathtakingly beautiful, his long golden hair tumbling down his back. He looked at the little tentacle monster standing by the bed, head tilted in innocent curiosity, and smiled softly.

"Come to think of it, I'm helping you pay off your debt. Shouldn't you fulfill your people's traditional way of showing gratitude?"

So he was testing Lin Yun's loyalty! Lin Yun curled his tentacles behind his back and said with determination, "I know! I can do the laundry and mop the floor, guard the house, taste your food for poison, take a bullet for you if you're hurt, and..."

Before he could finish, the world spun around him. Xie Jinran grabbed him and pushed him down onto the bed. Lin Yun blinked in confusion at the protagonist, who was kneeling over him with a meaningful smile.
