Raising a Zombie Boyfriend [Historical Era]

In the tenth year of the apocalypse, the Zombie Extermination Plan was launched. Jiang Shan fled desperately with her cold, stiff zombie boyfriend. Xie Zhizhou perished protecting her, and she too died at the hands of the humans hunting them down.

Jiang Shan died, then opened her eyes to find herself and Xie Zhizhou lying in a lush green forest, their bodies covered in wounds.

How lucky they were to have returned together to 1955, the early years of the People's Republic, when the mountains were green, the waters were clear, and there was no pollution.

They no longer had to fight for a bite to eat or wander everywhere to escape human pursuers.

Jiang Shan was filled with gratitude and resolved to make a life for herself in this era.

But there was a problem. Xie Zhizhou was badly injured, his skin bluish-white and his limbs stiff. He could barely speak. And she herself had the face of a beautiful but useless girl, with an ability that was damn near useless: a furnace body/charm arts!

She couldn't lift anything heavy or do any hard labor. At best, she could run fast when fleeing. orz

What could she do to drag Xie Zhizhou along while getting them registered, finding them a home, and putting food on the table?

Xie Zhizhou's half-zombie body still needed meat with every meal. Good grief, raising a zombie man is so hard. Sob.

[Reader's Guide]

1. The heroine is a silly, beautiful but useless girl. During the apocalypse, she relied on her zombie boyfriend to cheat his way through and protect her. She's still pretty useless in 1955, too, um...

But she bravely shoulders the burden of supporting her boyfriend and feeding him meat. Light a candle for her. I'm dying laughing.

2. The zombie virus in the male lead's body isn't contagious, for a reason. No spoilers.

3. Childhood sweethearts who love each other, depend on each other, and save each other. Nobody can break up my ship.
