The Hutong Courtyard in the 1960s

A scheming scumbag of a male lead x a rich young lady who transmigrates and acts like a slacker

-

Jiang Miaomiao transmigrated.

Before she could figure out what was going on, a shrill loudspeaker blared in her ear: "...Take steel as the main goal, mobilize the whole nation to produce steel on a grand scale, and fulfill the target of doubling steel output!"

Hearing this, Jiang Miaomiao, who had just finished her college entrance exams and finally gained her freedom, rolled her eyes and passed out cold.

Fu Sinian, a police officer with the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau, had recently run into trouble.

In the middle of the night, a young woman with a head wound had collapsed outside the gate to his courtyard. He took her to the hospital. The next day, she had amnesia from her head injury and remembered nothing except that her name was Jiang Miaomiao...

Fu Sinian chuckled and decided to play along.

He helped her search the whole city for her family. When they found no one, he offered to help her register for a household account and arrange her food rations.

He acted warm and considerate, taking care of her at every turn. He watched as she happily left the hospital clutching her household registration booklet, then searched the entire city for a place to live and a job, and even tried to date him?

Hah.

Which family had sent this secret agent? She was unbelievably stupid.

Pretending to have amnesia right in front of him? She must have a death wish.
