Die If You Don't Play Volleyball

My next Haikyuu!! story is now open for preorders! Little angels passing by are welcome to visit my author page and take a look~ Blurb: Six months after suffering paralysis in both legs, Mibu Akiya hit rock bottom. "Mibu Akiya, once a prodigy, has fallen from grace." He heard those words whispered by others countless times, until they became an obsession. He couldn't suppress the thought that he had to stand again and reclaim everything that belonged to him. That was when the System appeared. "Hey, kid, want to stand up again? Then come play volleyball with me!" * Arai Tetsuya was a middle blocker on the Nekoma High volleyball team. When he first joined the club, Arai Tetsuya was a complete beginner, but his passion and determination for volleyball were extraordinary. He studied volleyball on a 24/7 schedule, absorbing knowledge like a sponge. After countless hours of intense practice, he grew at an astonishing speed. "You wouldn't understand. If I don't play volleyball, I'll die. Seriously." From being completely unable to receive a serve, with no clue how to block, spike, or set, to fitting right into Nekoma's defense and becoming its newest scoring weapon... it took him just three months. Kenma: I don't get it... He's terrifying. Yamamoto: We can't let a rookie pass us! Let's go! I'm fired up! Kuroo: Are all the new kids this motivated? Looks like nationals are just around the corner! But no one knew that after every practice, Arai Tetsuya could see the System's "training results." Health +1, Health +1, Health +1... If his health didn't reach the required level within three months, he would really die. After endless training and matches, his health finally reached 10,000. Far away, at the Tokyo General Hospital, the paralyzed patient Mibu Akiya stood up under the astonished gaze of his doctor. "Congratulations. You've recovered." * Having discovered the charm of volleyball while living under his secret identity, Mibu Akiya didn't give up the sport after recovering. As soon as he returned to school, he joined its volleyball club. Aoba Johsai High's volleyball team was a powerhouse in Miyagi Prefecture. It had lost to Shiratorizawa in the Spring High qualifiers for two years running, and its best-known player was Toru Oikawa, a former "Best Setter" award winner. Mibu Akiya calmly looked away from the scene of Iwaizumi holding back an enraged, bristling Oikawa, took a breath, leaped high, and slammed the ball down As it happened, he and Oikawa were "archenemies" who had never met. * Through countless efforts and struggles, he changed as he fought through defeat and victory, making his way to the summit. By the time he stepped onto the court for the final match, he understood what it meant to love the game and be part of a team, and he was ready to face the next challenge. But the team across the net looked incredibly familiar Mibu Akiya: ... Arai Tetsuya: ... Wait, seriously, am I playing against myself? *Bonus skit Fukunaga: People rarely die playing volleyball. Arai: People really do die playing volleyball (pointing to himself). Reader's Guide: 1. My writing isn't strong enough, so characters may be OOC. 2. I may get volleyball details wrong. Corrections are welcome. 3. The quality of the volleyball matches depends on my intelligence (kneels meekly). 4. No romance, everyone is platonic. 5. Lots of daily life, fewer matches. The first part focuses on Nekoma, the later part on Aoba Johsai. The Nekoma portion is longer, so take note before diving in. Theme: Volleyball is a sport you can't give up once you fall in love with it
