After My Childhood Friend Dragged Me Into Playing Volleyball

Inoue Kiyori loves making plans. The plans he's written since childhood would stack higher than he is. As he puts it, an ideal life is a stable one with no mistakes.

According to his plans, he should finish his studies perfectly, find a respectable job, and then buy himself a place to live a century from now.

Unfortunately, those plans keep drifting further out of reach because he has a childhood friend who's a volleyball idiot.

Years later, Inoue Kiyori, now a world-class middle blocker, gives an interview with an exchange that leaves everyone amused and speechless.

Reporter: Mr. Inoue, why did you choose to play volleyball?

Inoue Kiyori: My childhood friend talked me into it.

Reporter: Mr. Inoue, why did you choose to play as a middle blocker?

Inoue Kiyori: My childhood friend said it was the easiest position. You just have to block the ball.

Reporter: Have you ever thought of quitting volleyball?

Inoue Kiyori: All the time.

Reporter: Then what has kept you going until now?

Inoue Kiyori: My love of volleyball.

Theme: You need a dream. Work hard to make it come true.
