After Losing His Memory, the Professor Misplaced His Beloved

[Updated daily at 12:05 a.m.; I'll post a notice if anything comes up] Redemption / bittersweet angst / rekindled love / nine-year age gap, older man 1. Ye Sui first met Liang Jingchen in a hotel bed. The man was drunk, and Ye Sui took care of him all night. The next morning, Liang Jingchen tossed him some money, assuming he was a sex worker. The money hitting him didn't hurt. Ye Sui's nose turned red. He carefully gathered the bills one by one and stuffed them into his pocket. He decided Liang Jingchen was no good. But later... The “bad man,” Liang Jingchen, gave him a place to stay and made time to help him plan for the future. He took him stargazing, treated him to good food and beautiful views, got him the library card he had long yearned for, and made up for the family affection missing beneath his sunny, gentle exterior. The man had striking features and was quite handsome. His temperament reminded Ye Sui of his older brother. They lived under the same roof. Gradually, Ye Sui began to think of him as family. He never expected that a few months later, Liang Jingchen would say, “Teacher Ye, let's be together.” 2. Not long after Ye Sui and Liang Jingchen got together, they were in a car accident. The car was completely wrecked. Ye Sui only suffered a few minor scrapes, but Liang Jingchen fell into a deep coma. He was likely to remain in a vegetative state. Looking toward the operating room, Ye Sui raised his hand and slapped himself. “I'm a jinx, and that's all I'll ever be.” “Nothing can change that.” Liang Jingchen's mentor urged Ye Sui to leave, while tears streamed down the mentor's own face. Ye Sui bowed deeply to him, then left before Liang Jingchen could open his eyes. He was the one who had hurt Liang Jingchen. 3. Seven years later. Ye Sui's little noodle shop was almost closing when a customer stayed until midnight. The staff tried several times to hurry him along, to no avail. He had only a glass of water in front of him, and his eyes were as dark and unfathomable as an abyss. Only when he looked at the owner did a faint smile appear on his face. “Boss Ye, are you still going to say we don't know each other?” Ever since the man walked in, Ye Sui had barely dared to breathe. His throat felt tight, as if he were about to cry. His hands, clasped behind his back, shook terribly. Just as he was about to stammer out a denial, the man towered over him. He strode closer, his dark eyes sweeping over Ye Sui's waist. “Since you insist we have nothing to do with each other,” “then tell me, why are you holding the library card I got for you seven years ago?” - Formerly resilient, good-natured sweetheart who later runs away and suffers in silence x formerly gentle, doting daddy type who later turns into a cunning, domineering, deeply devoted man Bonus scene: The wind howled as the two of them huddled in the car all night. Ye Sui's face flushed red. He leaned against the car window and murmured, “It's snowing again.” The tall man lifted him out of the car and held him close. “Be good and stay still. I'll carry you.” Reading guide: 1. One-on-one pairing, both are each other's first, and both are pure. His memories will eventually return. 2. Rekindled love, happy ending. - Also featuring an upcoming wall-writing novel, “But We're Both Men” Both are each other's first / rekindled love / coercive scenes 1. The first time Xie Yang saw Lu Jingyan, he thought the guy was peculiar. He was gloomy and taciturn, dressed in designer clothes, yet lived in their basement. He fought the dog for food every day. His arms and shins were covered in injuries. Yet he had a face so beautiful it seemed unreal. Not only did the school belle like him, but so did the principal. Xie Yang loved fighting. He always took his friends' side, whether they were right or wrong. Once, he stabbed the school principal in the thigh with a pair of scissors, making a name for himself overnight. After that, no one dared laugh at his poor grades or his family's poverty. Lu Jingyan became his little sidekick, too. He kept an eye on Xie Yang every day to stop him getting into trouble, and even gave him his most valuable possession, a piece of Hetian yellow jade. He promised him, “Everything I have will be yours.” 2. Lu Jingyan meant it. But he also knew Xie Yang didn't need a promise like that at all. Because Xie Yang was homophobic. All it took was Lu Jingyan squeezing his index finger for Xie Yang to start distancing himself. He didn't speak to Lu Jingyan for two months, got himself a girlfriend, and moved into the school dorms without permission. He contacted his biological father behind Lu Jingyan's back and drove Lu Jingyan out of his home. He destroyed the last remaining connection between them. But it couldn't be that easy, could it? Lu Jingyan thought the guy was laughably childish. 3. Three years later. Lu Jingyan had become one of the most prominent rising stars in scientific research. He was ascetic in appearance and came from a wealthy family, yet had never shown the slightest interest in romance. He was the dream man of everyone in the field, men and women alike. All they saw was his austere exterior. But little did they know that every night when he got home, he pinned someone else beneath him. That was the person he had gone to great lengths to win back. The other man had once abandoned him. As punishment, Lu Jingyan said only two things to him each day: “Yangyang.” “Be good.” - Obsessive, ruthless gong with a few screws loose x stubborn, brawling, loyal, sensitive, kind shou Reading guide: 1.
