Kaveh woke up to find himself sitting at a negotiation table. The person across from him asked what he was willing to stake.
He had no idea how these negotiations worked, and just as he started to panic, a design blueprint caught his eye.
Designed by an outstanding graduate of Dreamweaver Academy at Paperfold University, and painstakingly crafted by a top master in the field.
"This is a blueprint for a planet. If you give us the go-ahead, we can create the next Penacony..."
Kaveh, who had looked a little reserved just moments ago, sat up straight. His eyes sparkled. "I'll bet it all!"
Dr. Ratio, there as a company consultant: ?
Going all in was definitely in character for him, but somehow, something felt off.

When Aventurine opened his eyes, a vast expanse of yellow sand rushed toward him. For a moment, he almost thought he'd ended up back on Tsygonia.
A carriage pulled by strange creatures slowly approached. A man dressed all in green, his expression cold, sat inside.
"Before heading out to survey the desert, did our great architect really not think to take the weather into account?"
To avoid giving away his presence, Aventurine replied without missing a beat, "What are you doing here?"
The other man gave him a sidelong glance. "Just a chance encounter."
Aventurine: ?
He'd pinpointed Aventurine's location in the middle of a massive sandstorm, in a vast desert, and called it a chance encounter? What kind of nonsense was that...
Also, this guy was such a show-off.

After that.
Aventurine not only helped Kaveh pay off his debts, but also made himself a tidy little nest egg. He was about to move out of his "roommate's" place in style when the other man stopped him, a rare hint of urgency in his voice. "Who are you?"
Kaveh worked hard on the planet he'd "won," quickly figuring out the principles behind Penacony's architecture. He published articles in several well-known journals, leaving his colleagues at the company wondering if he'd grown tired of the [Strategic Investment Department] and planned to join the [Genius Society].
One day, his new project was reviewed at First Truth University. A professor on the panel bluntly said, "Barely passing. Your score with me is a little higher than that peacock's."
After the truth about Aventurine and Kaveh swapping bodies came out...
The bird of paradise and the peacock became good friends.
Meanwhile, two certain scholars began a long journey of trading insults...
"Curing fools? I never do anything pointless."
"Meaning is never determined by assumptions. Minus points!"
Aventurine and Kaveh, out shopping, turned around and said in unison, "Stop arguing!"
[Before You Read]
1. Apologies for the OOC. This is self-indulgent writing.
2. Body swap.
3. A sweet story with no angst.

"Though I have no desire to vie for dominion, I know the suffering of the people."
After Morax conquered the last patch of scorched earth, he gazed at the devastated land and the graves of his fallen companions, and remained silent for a long time.
At last, the Archon War came to an end. The land of Liyue could finally look forward to peace.
As he and the Adepti discussed plans for recovery, a shell landed in front of their tent.
A dense swarm of bugs and starships blotted out the sky. An Emanator of Destruction unleashed the calamity known as the Cancer of All Worlds.
To protect the people, Morax had no choice but to absorb the Stellaron into himself. He used every last bit of his divine power to erase Teyvat's traces from the cosmos.
-
Someone once sensed the power of Destruction within Morax and asked, "Are you a follower of Destruction?"
Morax curved his lips into a faint smile and denied it. "No."
He joined the Interastral Peace Corporation and sparked an economic war of trade. In just six months, he rose to become a P45 executive.
Someone else asked, "Do you believe in Preservation?"
Morax neither confirmed nor denied it, merely stroking the strange coin in his hand.
Later, he helped the Xianzhou wage war against the Abundance, earning a glance from the Aeon Lan.
An onlooker suddenly understood. "So you've embarked on the Path of the Hunt."
Morax opened his eyes. A faint golden light shone in his pupils as he gazed toward the empty region of the galaxy. Steam rose from his tea, obscuring the emotions in his eyes.
The Path?
Countless interwoven roads, the struggles between all manner of factions... It was nothing more than another Archon War.
He had said long ago that he had no desire to vie for dominion.
Yet all the beings of the cosmos were caught in the depths of suffering.
Then let the "Archon War" continue. The only difference was that the opponents had changed from Archons to Aeons.
-
Long, long afterward.
The name of Rex Lapis Morax, the divine, resounded throughout the cosmos. Everyone sang of the legends of the Lord of Geo rescuing the people of the universe from suffering.
Fictional historians came swarming out of the woodwork.
"They say Nanook personally invited the Lord to come out of retirement!"
"And Oswaldo Schneider of the company's Market Development Department. I heard he tried to climb the ranks by selling out, but the Lord still beat him!"
"The Aeons of the Hunt and Abundance even fought over the Lord!"
"..."
Morax, now living among mortals under the assumed name Zhongli, tried to correct the most outlandish rumors. In the end, all he got in response was:
"Do you know more about Rex Lapis, or do I?"
-
When an anchor point for the Trailblaze landed on Liyue's soil, the Trailblazers found themselves guided by an idle man who loved tea and storytelling.
Trailblazer: "Are you a company executive, the God of Precious Gold?"
"Yes."
Trailblazer: "Are you the one who protects Rex Lapis for the Xianzhou?"
"Yes."
Trailblazer: "Are you Mr. Mo from the tavern?"
"Yes."
Trailblazer: "Are you Morax, wielder of the power of Destruction?"
"Yes."
Trailblazer: "..."
The man across from them smiled. "No one can stop Akivili's footsteps. And Aha, I imagine they've left the Astral Express by now, haven't they?"
Trailblazer: "How many secret identities do you have?!"
Zhongli poured them a cup of new tea from Chenyu Vale and gazed toward the horizon. He replied softly, "Allow me to introduce myself again. I am Zhongli, a consultant at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor."
Theme: Love means making your way to each other.
