[Hedgehog shou who looks utterly hopeless and periodically deranged, but has actually been shattered for seven years x genuinely mad-dog gong whose soul has been unhinged for a while, despite appearing stern and mature]
[He Lan x Mu Rong]
Attention: The gong is genuinely crazy, seriously!
He Lan is on his way to keep a promise made seven years ago when he gets into a car accident, falls into the water, and drowns. When he opens his eyes, he's in a field of blood-red sunflowers.
Forget whether red sunflower seeds taste good. The dilapidated villa behind the field looks like his family's home.
He Lan looks up at the villa's fourth-floor balcony. There, after their college entrance exams, He Lan and Mu Rong kissed beneath the stars.
Then that bastard ran away! And He Lan died on his way to meet him because of one text telling him to meet up.
He Lan wants to burn the whole place down!
After he opens the villa's front door, he finds his ex-boyfriend, whom he personally sent to prison just three months ago. What is he doing in this dusty old villa?
The [Death Report] that appears out of nowhere gradually reveals the dead man's story. The truth behind his death is absurdly ridiculous.
P.S.
1. [Shou's perspective] Many, many personal liberties taken. Neither lead is perfect, and the author is an idiot, so just have fun reading.
2. Both are pure, 1v1, no switching or reversing roles. The characters aren't based on real people, so please don't make that association.
3. No accepting any character-control preferences, no accepting any character-control preferences, no accepting any character-control preferences. Thank you.
4. The logic and characterization serve the romance and plot.
5. The romance is a little melodramatic. How much depends on your tolerance for melodrama, and it's a little angsty.
6. Wishing everyone great wealth and good health. May your lower backs and necks stay healthy forever, and may peace bring prosperity.
7. A practice piece with only one arc and a short word count.
Theme: Cherish the people in front of you
