The Frail Emperor and His Charming Shadow Guard

Emperor Gong (Feng Changji) x Guard Shou (Yu Qi)

[Content warnings at the end. Be sure to read them!]

Feng Changji didn't want to be emperor. Emperors had to kill people, and they had to guard against being killed by the regent.

As a good young man raised in modern times, he couldn't bring himself to rule as a feudal emperor, so he was taking forever to complete his System's mission.

In this life, he had planned to simply abdicate in favor of the regent, but one mishap after another followed, and the regent sent him a beautiful man who "couldn't understand what he was told."

The beauty taught him martial arts, showed him the hardships of ordinary people, and helped him become a kindhearted, benevolent emperor.

He even bore him an adorable, snow-white baby. Feng Changji thought everything was getting better, but at the happiest moment of his life, the regent punctured his beautiful bubble.

P.S. 1. An alternate ancient setting, a little melodrama, and childbirth.

[The gong is sickly in the beginning, but will recover before they have sex. He's not weak in bed.]

2. No fans who insist on favoring one character over the other. Please don't read if that's you, or you'll have a very hard time, an extremely hard time. This is a warning, not an invitation.

3. No swapping or reversing roles. One-on-one, both are sexually inexperienced, happy ending. The gong and shou dote on each other and are a perfect match.

4. A little ensemble cast, with a side couple. Their page time will depend on the story, and they won't get together in the main story, but there will be extra chapters.
