In her previous life, Lu Wenxia was a programmer. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a cyberpunk interstellar world.

Good news: She was alive, and no longer had to pay off her two-million-yuan mortgage!

Bad news: She was penniless, had been diagnosed with cyberpsychosis, and was being hunted by a mysterious force!!

Seriously?!

Other people transmigrate and steamroll the beginner's village. Why does she have to start from scratch?!

Whatever, she's here now!

If these greedy capitalists don't consider the lives of the "dead machines" at the bottom of society to be lives, then why not pull off something huge?

If the "cancer cells" of this damned capitalist society are spreading without limit, then let's destroy the whole interstellar world together!

At first, the puppet leaders of the Federal Government looked at the files on their desks with scorn.

"A bunch of amateurs. They're no threat."

Lu Wenxia, hacker, frail and suffering from cyberpsychosis.

Vera, mercenary, strong in the limbs but weak in the head.

Xiahou Xue, news anchor. Besides being beautiful and eloquent, what else can she do?

But later, one major corporation after another went under, and public opinion took a sharp turn.

Brilliant minds, strong bodies, the courage to keep pushing forward, and the determination to keep fighting back...

Those were definitely not "no threat"!

Later still, even the mastermind behind it all was captured and left wishing for death.

They proved that a ragtag bunch could be the best team around.

After the group successfully took down an interstellar giant, this post appeared on the forums:

"I found the best team!"

Joyce read the post aloud to everyone:

"Lu Wenxia, the farsighted eagle.

Vera, the battle-ready wolf.

Xiahou Xue, the tiger guarding the mountain."

Xiahou Xue eyed Lu Wenxia suspiciously. "You're the bear hibernating through winter."

Lu Wenxia shot back, "Then you're the bird poking its head out."

Xiahou Xue: "Is that worse than Vera being the scapegoat sheep?!"

Vera: "..."

"By the way, what are you?" Lu Wenxia was sure Joyce had hidden their identity card.

Joyce rubbed their nose. "The cunning fox."

Lu Wenxia snorted. "Hah, you're obviously the turd-stirring stick."

Well, sure, they're a ragtag bunch. But why couldn't they bring down capitalism?

After all, the interstellar world is one giant ragtag operation, right~

Reading Guide:

A long cyberpunk space story, focused on an ensemble of female characters.

The male lead shows up fairly late and doesn't get that many scenes, but he can still count as a member of the ragtag team, I guess (possibly riding the female lead's coattails).

Lu Yinxing buried herself in almost fanatical extra training to numb her anxious mind. She felt as if she had become an orphan again.

"Classmate, even the sun's tired of running. I'm clocking out too."

Lin Feng, a middle-aged woman at the school who had once been on the national team but now just wanted to take it easy until retirement, barged into her life.

Lin Feng called Lu Yinxing a "lunatic," and Lu Yinxing called Lin Feng an "idiot."

With Lin Feng by her side, Lu Yinxing escaped her nightmare, running from the school track to the provincial team.

Later, a new team member even more gifted than her joined the provincial team, then ran with her all the way to the national team.

Ning Yihan had a happy family and a wonderful life, and her personality was like a little sun.

Together, the two ran beyond Asia and onto the world stage.

Lu Yinxing simply thought she could never be friends with a girl like that.

But the truth was, a little sun shone on everyone equally.

Including her.

During the darkest, hardest days Lu Yinxing spent on the national team, Ning Yihan bravely helped her break out of her cage and get through it.

Ning Yihan said maybe it was time to run for herself for once.

Later, Lu Yinxing finally achieved her dream of becoming an Olympic champion, breaking the world record that had been monopolized by other countries.

In an interview, Lu Yinxing sat before the camera with her gold medal around her neck and said, "It feels like I've spent my whole life running."

A hundred-meter track, just ten short seconds.

Lu Yinxing lived an entire life.
