White Wilderness [Ice Hockey]

Passionate hockey golden retriever x insightful consultant older sister

Also known as: The playboy athlete I imagined turns out to be a lovestruck wolfdog?!

-

The day before, Ding Li was a top consultant at a leading consulting firm, invited back to her alma mater to give a talk, while Bai Ye was a well-behaved junior in the audience.

The next day, by a twist of fate, the two set off together on a five-day, four-night road trip through the north.

The car rolled across summer fields, then quietly lit up beneath the starry night sky.

Ding Li curled her lips. "Don't you want to?"

Bai Ye's gaze burned as he finally kissed her neck.

"Sis..."

All right, so this handsome athlete looked like an absolute playboy, but he had a great body and knew what he was doing. That was pretty good, too.

-

Ding Li thought it was a lovely, mutual fling, but Bai Ye seemed to be taking it seriously.

This time, Bai Ye was a hockey star, sweating it out on the ice and brimming with testosterone, while Ding Li cheered and applauded from the stands.

After the game, Bai Ye stopped Ding Li, helmet in hand.

"Sis, we meet again. I thought you'd have your fun and run off."

Ding Li awkwardly brushed the loose hair behind her ear. "Of course not."

But inwardly, she scoffed. What a big bad wolf, pretending to be lovestruck.

-

Much later, Bai Ye blinked his big, watery puppy eyes and frantically protested.

"I've never liked anyone else! You're the only one I like, Sis!!"
