Just an Ordinary Person, but Forced by the Most Popular Top Star

Lou Xuejin was assigned to a new department. The Comic World Transmigration Department was infamous for its high-risk settings and extremely low survival rates.

The mission was simple: survive in various comic worlds. The completion rate, however, was a pitiful 0.1%.

The character cards he got: blind, mute, paraplegic, in a world where ugliness is beautiful...

The comic world's tags: killers, monsters, impostors, superpowers...

Lou Xuejin: I'm not making it. I'll just wait to die. Goodbye 😨

System (worried): If we don't improve our performance, we're going to get fired.

Lou Xuejin: No choice. I'll have to latch onto powerful people everywhere and scrape by 😖

The top characters in these comics were either warm on the outside and cold within, or cynical; cool and aloof, yet deeply loyal; or gentle but indifferent, cruel and heartless. In the right circumstances, they were all dependable, like a rock to lean on.

They all shared two defining traits: overwhelming strength and an intense sense of distance.

Lou Xuejin planned to latch onto the protagonists and coast along. Who knew all those top characters would come to him of their own accord?

In a hot-blooded battle comic: a blind owner of an adult novelty shop who waits on himself. He latches onto the protagonist next door, whose kind heart leads him to bring food over every day. Then, one day, the protagonist is replaced by a top character who's a childish brat and loves to tease him. Lou Xuejin pretends not to notice and plays along 😎

A few days later, the protagonist is knocking at the door. Lou Xuejin is pinned behind it 🥵, his toes barely touching the ground. The top character chuckles in his ear: "Make sure you keep your mouth shut, or he'll hear us~"

In a modern supernatural comic: a paraplegic rich heir.

In a suspense-horror comic: a mute, money-loving lackey.

I'm so done with these top characters forcing their love on me every time! 😮‍💨
