[The bittersweet unrequited-love story Green Leaves has started updating. Find it in my collection.]

Lin Yu likes Chen Luli. Her quiet childhood crush gradually draws her closer to him, and eventually she wins his friendship.

They've known each other for years and have plenty of friends in common.

Their feelings for each other aren't anything special.

Still, after so many years of friendship, they understand each other to some extent.

She knows he's not the kind to settle down easily, and she knows that the woman he'd risk everything for will come back sooner or later.

She goes about her life as usual: work, daily routines, dating.

Then an accident brings them closer. She covers her mouth to stifle the sound, turns to look at him, and says, “Can we just pretend this was an accident?”

He presses his palm to the back of her neck and bends down to look into her eyes. “Sure.”

The hero's looks and personality are at odds. The more restrained he seems, the more insatiable he is.

Later on, this will have a crossover with Burn to Ashes.
