File No. 001: The Lost City:
[Extremely even-tempered, kind and "harmless" ordinary human bottom x possessive, always wants to hold his wife close, afraid someone will steal him away, henpecked, formless shadow top]
Qi Yu is the only living person in this city.
Because his husband wants him to sleep in a little longer, every morning Qi Yu has to get out of bed in a room so dark that not even a ray of sunlight can get in.
Then he buys breakfast at a shop run by a married couple who share one body and have four hands,
accepts flowers plucked from the flower shop owner's own body, the owner being a carnivorous plant with a second head,
and takes a bus driven by a big yellow dog to get to work...
Qi Yu used to be afraid of the dark, but not anymore.
The endless darkness that envelops the entire city is his beloved.
File No. 002: Beneath the Deep Sea
[Cool, neurotic mixed-race beauty researcher bottom x dark, eerie, cute-style, tentacled giant octopus nonhuman top]
Today marks the three hundredth day stranded at sea, exactly ten months, and the twenty-seventh day since the last member of the team died.
Food supply: three days left
Rescue signal: none
Ships passing by: none
Living creatures on the floating island: ...
He is the only one left.
After writing his final journal entry, Aier decides to kill himself.
He tosses away the research report that has lost all value, along with the diaries he wrote while going mad, watches the pages float across the sea, then leaps into the water.
But he doesn't die.
A gigantic, deep-purple tentacle lifts him out of the sea and carefully sets him on the floating island. Then it spreads its tentacles and asks, its voice full of anticipation:
[Would you like to play that game with me again?]
[Short stories about nonhumans in different times and places within the same world (maybe?)]
Please note:
1. The tops are all nonhuman. The bottoms include both humans and nonhumans, and each story has a different style (??)
2. Writing this for myself because I like it. I don't accept writing advice.
3. Just writing for fun. Beginner-level writing and plot.
4. This blurb was written on July 25, 2024, and has been screenshotted.
Theme: Even in the darkness, keep your heart turned toward the light.
