As compensation for the difficulty of keeping track of those whose merit is simply too great, after failing to reach an agreement with the various departments of Hell, Hozuki overhears the King of Hell mutter, "If their blessings are too abundant to be used up through reincarnation, how about giving them a chance to resolve their regrets?"
Hozuki narrows his eyes. "...For once, that's not a bad idea."
The twins open their eyes. The elder brother looks at his younger brother, and the younger brother looks at his elder brother. The younger brother's left hand clasps his brother's right. Tokito Yuichiro holds Tokito Muichiro in his arms. It seems they have returned to the age of twelve. They raise their heads, and the sunlight is warm.
"Where are we?" Tokito Yuichiro asks. He remembers that he died, and that before his death, he prayed for the gods and Buddhas to save his younger brother.
"This is Teyvat," Tokito Muichiro murmurs. Somehow, he knows he has arrived in a brand-new world. The wind whispers in his ear: Go and seek out your regrets. Fill the hollow in the depths of your soul.
