When Jiang Xiangxun started university, she found herself a "servant."

At first, it was just a joke among a group of rich playboys, but Jiang Xiangxun was young and proud at the time, and couldn't stand being provoked.

She threw money at Shao Yingchang on the spot and told the proud young man that if he became her lackey, she'd pay his family's medical bills.

Her "servant" did his job conscientiously for four years, answering every request and coming whenever she called.

Even when she humiliated him to the utmost, he never fought back.

But good things don't last. The Jiang family fell.

After graduation, the two went their separate ways.

Jiang Xiangxun thought she would never have anything to do with him again.

She never expected that years later, by a twist of fate, she would end up at Shao Yingchang's company.

Their positions had changed as well.

The president's office was so quiet that day, you could hear a pin drop.

Shao Yingchang stopped her as she reached to pour tea and spoke lazily. "Do you remember me?"

He curled his lips. He was no longer as timid as he had been before. Instead, he gave off the air of someone in power.

Jiang Xiangxun gripped the rim of the cup until her fingers turned white. She stood there with her fists clenched and said nothing.

He raised his eyes to gauge her reaction, but it was impossible to read the emotion in his dark pupils.

His voice was as calm as ever. "Shao Yingchang, your 'servant.'"
