There are countless fox spirits in the world. Half of them are playboys who toy with people's hearts, and Fu Zhao is the most infamous of them all.
Fu Zhao has lived for three thousand years, and his romantic history fills three thousand volumes. The aloof sword cultivator from the Endless Abyss, the breathtakingly beautiful spirit from the Sea of Peach Blossoms, even the monk who sits beneath the green lamp and worships Buddha at the Futu Temple may have had a thing with him.
Some unofficial histories claim that the catastrophe that brought the entire cultivation world to ruin began with this heartthrob.

Fu Zhao died, then came back to life.
When he climbed out of his own coffin, the little ghosts at his graveside were gathered around a racy romance tale starring him. It was quite steamy, though he couldn't stand the other lead.
Fu Zhao squatted beside them and watched with relish for a while before commenting, "What a joke. Would I make a face like that? This guy is terrible in bed."
The little ghosts turned around, saw him, and scattered in every direction as if they had seen the King of Hell.
Fu Zhao felt his face, thinking he must have been disfigured.
He turned to look as well, only to find the other lead standing there with a face as dark as the bottom of a pot. He looked even more terrifying than the King of Hell.

By the time Fu Zhao came back to life, the age of spiritual decline had arrived. The cultivation world had fallen, the demon race was nearing extinction, and everything had changed beyond recognition. Even every fish in his pond had swum away, save for the one who had become the head of the Abnormality Management Bureau.
The kind of person demons had to bow and scrape before.
The only thing that hadn't changed was that he was still terrible in bed, and still threatened Fu Zhao with bloodshot eyes.
"Don't look for anyone else."
[Extra Scene]
Fu Zhao was born with a smile and knew how to flatter people. For a fox spirit, attracting admirers was simply instinct.
Yet ever since he joined the Abnormality Management Bureau as an outside contractor, every human and demon he met had given him a wide berth. As a result, his cultivation had barely advanced.
Fu Zhao sighed and fretted, unable to figure out why. He was so worried that he'd even lost a few hairs from his tail.
Someone gave a cold snort and set him straight. "Because they all know not to mess with someone who's taken."
