This Yin Spirit Is No Gentleman

The Shao family is a renowned sect of the occult. They practice the secret art of spirit possession, commonly known as inviting a god into one's body. Only when a spirit enters the practitioner can they borrow its power. Shao Jing is famous in the Shao family for being a good-for-nothing. On the day he cut ties with the family, the founding patriarch appeared to him in a dream and said that one day, out of jealousy of his clansmen's abilities, Shao Jing would invite an evil spirit into his body, suffer a backlash, and die without a whole corpse. Shao Jing, who had never studied or strived to improve himself: "What the hell?" Shao Jing reasonably suspected that the petty old patriarch was holding a grudge over the time he'd sneaked offerings and was now retaliating. That is, until he had to invite a spirit into his body to save someone. The one who answered his call was indeed a Yin officer from Fengdu, wielding a huge polearm. Shao Jing: A Yin spirit still counts as a god. No problem. However, the black-robed officer bowed before him like a servant, yet seemed to have developed a taste for the sensation of their spirits entwining. Like a starving wolf that could never get enough, he kept coaxing in a low voice: "Good boy, relax. Let me in." Shao Jing: Is this Yin officer always so indecent? * Shao Jing had always known that his spiritual senses were far too sharp. Whenever a spirit entered his body, it felt like a fire burning through his heart. Xiang Situ was different, though perhaps a little too different. After they established their spirit-summoning contract, every time the ritual ended, Shao Jing would lie dazed in Xiang Situ's arms, face flushed and hands trembling as he shakily told him to get out. The Yin officer's aura entwined tightly with his spirit. A husky laugh echoed deep in Shao Jing's soul, tempting him with a bewitching voice: "No." A lazy, pessimistic good-for-nothing bottom x an irreverent Yin god top Content warnings: 1.
