Stalking [Sentinel/Guide Gender-Bender]

The first time she came home, she noticed the key by the door was out of place. That's when she also spotted the little stray dog's clumsy tailing.

It always showed up on rainy nights. Sometimes it climbed over the wall into her yard and made its way into the living room. It never dared enter her bedroom, but it would sniff the dirty clothes she was about to wash.

To be honest, it wasn't very polite or very clever.

A reckless stalker who thought they'd found a wild guide.

How interesting.

She quickly subdued the intruder, leaving it with damp bite marks and threats that posed no real danger.

When she invaded its mental sea, hoping to find something more interesting, the little dog's struggles grew frantic. It stopped biting and started licking instead, cowering, clingy and fierce.

It begged her to let it go and not to alert the security force.

But the beautiful single guide suddenly smiled.

“You know I'm a guide, but do you know why the White Tower exiled me?”

She blew a puff of smoke into the face of that reckless little stray.

Its bright blue eyes were cute even when they trembled.

“Sentinels don't like guides who can top them, though they do seem pretty good at taking it...”

Her gaze passed through the glowing cigarette tip and settled on the stalker's tense Adam's apple.

“What, are you tempted?”

She saw a chaotic mental sea and a surging tangle of desire.

The mood shifted, growing as dark as the storm about to break outside the window.

“Looks like you're really hoping I'll do it.”

The bedroom door that had never been touched opened, then closed.

The stray sentinel who had stalked the guide for over half a month finally entered that room with her permission.

The stray howled all night. She was quite pleased. Having the strength to cry was a good thing.

She whipped the barren mental sea again and again until it was drenched and obedient. After its rebirth, it took on a shape that belonged to her alone.

“This is your reward for stalking me, puppy.”

A short story.

A story about a perverted sentinel on the verge of losing control who stalks a guide, only to get topped instead.
