A Beloved Ghost of the Demon Slayer Corps

[Unfinished, don’t come in.]

[Everyone loves her + bringing characters back from the dead + spoiled crybaby + healer]

Hanazawa Riku is never satisfied.

After sixteen years soaking in medicinal baths, her paper-white complexion bears the mark of a life spent surrounded by herbs. She isn’t content to be trapped at home. One night, she crawls out through a dog hole to see the world beyond, only to encounter a demon.

The moonlight was like frost. She waited quietly for death.

A streak of green light tore through the air. Wind blades sliced the demon apart in an instant. Unwilling to die alone, the demon turned Riku into one of its kind, hoping to drag someone down with it.

But Riku was still alive.

Faced with the threat of death, her unrivaled will to survive awakened her Blood Demon Art in an instant. As a demon, she humbled herself and begged for a chance to live.

She would live better than anyone.

--

A demon appeared at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. At first, everyone thought they’d never get used to it. But after the demon saved them from death, they slowly accepted her, only to discover that Riku-chan was an absolute angel!

Shinazugawa Genya: Riku-chan improved my weapon. Now I hit one target, one kill.

Kocho Kanae: Riku-chan saved me. Riku-chan is the best!

Ubuyashiki Masachika: Riku-chan is cute, smart, sensible, kind…

Only Shinazugawa Sanemi asked, “Are all of you blind?”

Note:

1. Early on, the Wind Hashira finds Riku and keeps testing her. He’ll be nasty, but later he becomes her biggest supporter and dotes on her more than anyone.

2. Riku’s transformation into a demon failed, so she is half-human, half-demon and cannot be sensed by the Demon King.

3. The whole cast dotes on her. She’s calculating, but her schemes never quite work.

4. Everyone loves her, with countless people carrying unrequited crushes.

Thesis: Self-reliance.
