A Couldn't-Care-Less Marriage

Now that she was old enough to marry, Wen Shuyang planned to follow her family's wishes and get married after a blind date.

But on the day they were supposed to register their marriage, her blind date stood her up.

Standing alone outside the civil affairs bureau, Wen Shuyang was utterly speechless.

The quality of blind dates these days really was awful. It was like grabbing a random person off the street.

Wen Shuyang thought they would hit it off, but then their conversation drifted over to her.

"We're only doing this to humor our elders. My only condition for marriage is that we keep our feelings out of it and live separate lives."
