Lu Xuan'ang had known since childhood that Lu Yuchuan loved him.
He enjoyed all the unconditional kindness Lu Yuchuan showed him,
while playing dumb and living for the moment. Every time he disappeared, he would be gone for months. He never once faced their relationship head-on.
After all, Lu Yuchuan could handle everything at home just fine.
The vast Lu family business didn't seem to need its biological son, either.

Lu Xuan'ang immediately flew halfway around the world to rush back and angrily kicked open his door.
"Do you like being with that guy so much that you'd rather leave the Lu family and start a business with him?" Lu Xuan'ang pressed him. "Don't you..."

Lu Xuan'ang bit his lip hard. His voice trembled, and he couldn't get the rest of the words out.
Lu Yuchuan didn't understand why Lu Xuan'ang was so upset. He assumed Lu Xuan'ang was afraid no one would spoil him like this anymore, and patiently explained:
"I'll always be your older brother."
After all, Lu Xuan'ang had always wanted him to be nothing but his older brother.
"Xuan'ang, I hope you'll give us your blessing."
Yan Li took Lu Yuchuan's hand.
Seeing their fingers intertwined, Lu Xuan'ang was consumed by such overwhelming jealousy that it nearly burned away all reason. He threw Yan Li out and slammed the door shut.
"I won't allow it! You can't be with him! I can't do anything to you, but I'll make sure he dies!"
Lu Xuan'ang pinned Lu Yuchuan to the bed, his eyes red with hurt as he ground out the words through clenched teeth.
Outside the door, Yan Li anxiously pounded on it.
Lu Yuchuan studied the person in front of him, holding back the anger that had been building inside.
"Xuan'ang, haven't you always treated my love as a burden? What are you doing now?"
"I don't know. I don't know..."
"But you can't leave! I'll make that guy get lost right now!"
Lu Xuan'ang held him down, their lips almost touching.
"Lu Xuan'ang."
Lu Yuchuan ran out of patience and called him by his full name.
"Either kiss me, and we get together right now,"
"or get out."

[Reading Guide and Warnings]
1. The older brother is the top, and he stays sexually inexperienced throughout. Don't get the pairing wrong.
2. The younger brother is not sexually inexperienced. For plot reasons, he has dated women, but has only had sex with men, and has always been the top.
3. Writing this for myself. A wealthy-family story without melodrama would be pointless!
