As the title says, I am a divine altar.
Before I became a divine altar, I was the ancient god Zhuoyue, in charge of sunrise and sunset and the climate of the three realms.
Sadly, I fell. The little divine power I had left gathered into a divine altar, where I now live out my days on a sacred mountain in the cultivation world.
In the early years, I still had enough strength to take human form and go have some fun. I even brought home a little beggar to raise.
Once he was cleaned up, the little beggar was as lovely as jade and both clever and well-behaved.
I raised him with every last spirit pill and every bit of divine power I had, treating him like something so precious it might break if I held him too tightly.
Who knew that when he turned eighteen, he would leave on a journey, get deceived, and join the cultivation world's greatest sect as a master, triggering a script called [Plot].
He was about to:
Be framed by his fellow disciples and kicked out of the sect.
Be coveted by his wicked disciple and imprisoned in a dark room.
Be abducted by the Demon Lord and made into a cultivation vessel.
Be branded a wanton, fallen beauty, ridden by thousands and cursed by tens of thousands.
Countless people would revel in the thrill of dragging the lofty flower down from its altar.
*
I was furious. Anyone who dares lay a hand on him, just try it! I'll cut your hand off.
I decided to raze the cultivation world to the ground.
But I'd forgotten that I now had only enough divine power to take the form of an ordinary mortal with no spiritual energy.
To save my little darling, I had no choice but to lower myself and join that accursed sect as a crazed-looking outer disciple.
But what I didn't expect was that my usually aloof and pristine little darling wasn't nearly as well-behaved as I thought.
