The Italian department at XX Foreign Languages University admitted so few students in 20XX that they barely made up a single class. After military training, the students pooled their money to rent a bus and visit a newly opened, cheap scenic spot in the mountains. But on the way, the bus had an accident and plunged off a cliff. No one survived.
When they opened their eyes again, they had transmigrated to a Western European country several hundred years in the past. There was no internet or electricity here, only appalling hygiene, murderous medical practices, a meager standard of living, and pervasive class oppression.
What's more, although each of them received a different golden finger, for some unknown reason, everyone had a different gender in this life than in their previous one.
In this savage, dark, and backward world, these students from the modern age, who had basked in the light of civilization, resolved to use the knowledge and golden fingers they'd acquired to advance society.
Before they died, could they at least make sure every household had a flush toilet? Luca Ferruzo, once their class monitor and now a man, thought so. He invested in and founded a factory specializing in the production of flush toilets.
Although the whole class transmigrates together, the story is divided into volumes, each with a different protagonist working on their own little patch of land. They won't join forces to make trouble together until the final volume.
This story grew out of a personal whim inspired by my own interests...
But I feel like nobody's reading it... So I can only wait until I'm financially secure before coming back to write it bit by bit.
