Arc One:
A twisted, obsessive man is in love with a ray of sunshine, but the ray of sunshine likes a hapless fool.
So the twisted man turns to pursue the hapless fool instead. Even after they get married, he doesn’t cherish him. He manipulates him and gives him the cold shoulder, then adds, "You owe me."
"Because of you, I couldn’t be with the person I love."
The hapless fool sees the script and laughs three times. "Fine, fine, whatever you say."
Then he turns the tables and kicks the twisted man out of bed.
Lighting a cigarette, he says coldly, "Get out. Don’t let him see you."
Rubbing his sore lower back, the twisted man laughs angrily.
"Does he know what kind of person you are?"
The hapless fool, now evolved into a scum top, tosses away his cigarette butt and says coldly, "He’s not like you. I won’t let him find out."
"When you’re around him, you’d better act like nothing happened."
The hapless fool gets dressed and pretends not to know him. The twisted man laughs three times. "Fine, fine, whatever you say."
So you like him? I’ll make sure you don’t get what you want.
The scum top and the ray of sunshine are getting along like a house on fire. The twisted man sits intimately beside the scum top, casually revealing the marks on his neck.
Seeing the pain on the ray of sunshine’s face, the twisted man looks delighted.
Then someone shoves him to the ground.
The scum top says casually, "It was just a fling. Who knew he’d take it seriously?"
Arc Two: The Substitute
A rich young man has been secretly in love with his straight childhood friend for years, but can’t have him, so he finds an aloof beauty who looks like him to be his substitute.
When he brings the substitute before the real one, he is pleased by the other man’s shocked expression. He doesn’t notice the sudden light in the aloof beauty’s eyes when he sees the real one.
The childhood friend has a secret: he has a mysterious boyfriend.
The man always comes to see him in the middle of the night, never lets him turn on the lights, and never stays over.
Yet sometimes, when he wakes from a dream, he sees the man bathed in moonlight, stroking his face with a tender, adoring gaze.
That gaze makes his heart flutter.
When he breaks things off with the rich young man and goes to the aloof beauty with a wedding ring, he sees someone beside him who resembles the aloof beauty more than anyone else, and suddenly understands.
It turns out that he and the rich young man were the substitutes all along.
The rich young man’s personality is like the aloof beauty’s, and he looks like the aloof beauty. The aloof beauty was only searching for his own reflection in them.
Arc Three: The Perfect Wife
Of course he loves his husband, but his husband is devoted to his career and has a dull personality. He can’t even say sweet things.
The other man who enters his life, however, is passionate, considerate, and tender. Over time, he can’t help falling for him.
But he never intended to get a divorce.
Every time he finds comfort in his lover’s arms, he turns around and becomes the perfect wife again, keeping the household in impeccable order so his husband has nothing to worry about.
He loves his husband. He just needs his lover’s affection from time to time.
He had imagined how his husband would react when he learned the truth: falling apart, rage, grief, any number of things. But he never expected him to be so calm.
Amid his shock and anger, he hears his husband say, "I don’t need a lover. I need an obedient wife. If you’re not up to the task, I’ll find someone else to take your place."
The person who steps out from behind his husband is none other than the lover who said he would love him for the rest of his life.
