Luo Yang is the supporting character in four different novels at once.
In the first, he is the butler to the young master of a wealthy family.
According to the plot, he is supposed to tell the protagonist, the one being pursued:
"You're the first boy the young master has ever brought home."
"It's been ages since the young master smiled like this."
The protagonist glances at the young master, who's been grinning foolishly at Butler Luo ever since they walked in, and silently moves a little farther away.
In the second, he is the little gardener at the domineering CEO's house in a story about a forced relationship.
According to the plot, he is supposed to tell the protagonist:
"The CEO just doesn't know how to love someone."
"No one's ever taught him how to love."
Before he can finish, the furious CEO drags him aside and warns him:
"I told you to stay away from him."
"If you dare say another word to him, I'll break his other leg."
The protagonist: So? Is my leg part of your play, too?
In the third, he is the attack's drinking buddy in a story about a couple getting back together after a breakup.
After taking the drunk attack home, he tells the protagonist:
"Sis-in-law, my buddy really does love you."
"Listen, even drunk, all he does is call your name."
The protagonist is just about to explain that they aren't in that kind of relationship when the drunk attack beside them starts mumbling: "Luo Yang, don't go."
Seeing the protagonist's gaze turn sharp in an instant, Luo Yang covers the attack's mouth, suddenly ready to kill him.
Damn it, just shut up already.
In the fourth, he is the attack's doctor friend in a story of painful, passionate love.
Looking at the injured protagonist, he sets down his medical kit and complains:
"Could you stop calling me over in the middle of the night?"
"If you keep hurting him like this, you'll regret it one day."
The protagonist's pursuer looks at the rival's deliberately inflicted wounds, made to garner sympathy, and lies through his teeth:
"He likes it. Look how happy he is."
Luo Yang turns and sees the smug smile the protagonist hasn't managed to hide, and is left with a face full of question marks:
I never heard he was into that.
Luo Yang spends every day mediating disputes and building connections between the various protagonists, so busy he can barely keep up.
But he never imagined that the protagonists from different worlds would one day meet.
