The Awakening of a Demon

Blurb:

It is said that the world is home to seasonal spirits. They live for only a hundred years and can give their lifespan to others.

Lu Jingzhe was born a useless spirit. He can command thunder, though it makes a lot of noise and little rain, and transfer lifespan, though he has no idea how to use that power. He wants nothing from life except to repay his adoptive father's kindness and live out his days with a clear conscience.

Pei Zhongsheng is the richest man in Baili City and head of the Pei family. He has suffered from a severe illness for thirty years. He has long heard that seasonal spirits can extend one's life, but after years of searching, he found no trace of one. Just as his life was about to end, he finally discovered a seasonal spirit and formed an unbreakable bond with Lu Jingzhe.

Note: One-on-one romance, very short, an old-fashioned sweet romance, happy ending.
