Divine Realm

An elf living in the Divine Realm accidentally falls into the mortal world. On the perilous journey to find a way home, they hack their way through every obstacle, admiring the scenery along the way and discovering love and courage.

An ensemble cast novel with a lighthearted tone.

The main focus is adventure and battles of wits.

The main story begins with the Mortal Realm arc. You can skip the prequel without affecting your enjoyment.

The first part of the main story only begins to unveil the world. The story is far from over (in fact, it has barely begun), so read at your own risk.

Setting:

1. At the dawn of the Divine Realm, the Seven Gods created seven races. Wars were frequent in those days, so the gods raised a rift in space and time, splitting the Divine Realm in two to protect the human race and ensure its survival. Billions of years later, as the Seven Gods weakened, the rift collapsed, and the full extent of the Divine Realm gradually appeared before humanity.

2. Talent system: All races except humans and mixed-bloods can have their talents identified by a spirit seer. Aside from rare talents, the other talent grades mean more or less what the word "talent" suggests.

3. Most divine beings, except humans and mixed-bloods, live for 3,000 to 4,000 years and mature slowly. At 150, they look like humans aged 15 to 20. Their appearance changes more gradually after 200. They enter old age after 3,000 and gradually wither until death. After death, their bodies vanish and their souls return to the Ghost Realm. Human bodies do not vanish after death, but their souls also go to the Ghost Realm.

4. The seven races have different blood colors. Humans and vampires have red blood, demons have black, elves have blue, giants have green, spacetime beings have clear blood, and demons of the yao race have blood of various colors.

5. Mixed-bloods are scorned by divine beings and regarded as having inferior bloodlines.

Theme: May the world embrace difference, and may love and courage bloom in the ordinary
