A DC-centered crossover with the broader DC universe.
Alice is a gaming streamer.
Her life is simple: she edits funny videos and gives up immediately when things get dangerous. She's got a bit of brains, but not much.
As an ordinary person in a superhero world, the most unmotivated of the unmotivated, she never imagined she could become a superhero. But one day, through a series of mishaps, she accidentally downloaded the wrong game.
Well, she'd already downloaded it, so she might as well play.
So she installed a yandere mod and somehow turned a city-building game into a reverse harem love-quarrel showdown. She added a polyamory mod and dreamed of becoming a player. Her ideals were lofty, but reality was harsh.
The game was pretty fun, and every NPC was gorgeous. The only problem was that it was so obscure there were no guides, so Alice had to figure everything out herself.
She didn't know what she was getting into until she started exploring.
Was the sweet older girl next door actually a murderous lunatic named Wayne? Did the shut-in downstairs dream of building a space-time machine, and come from an asylum in Metropolis? Was the weirdo upstairs, who kept calling herself an alien and going by Vyx, really what she claimed to be? And was the stunning beauty on the top floor trapped in a tragic romance-and-dismemberment plot? The NPCs were such a bizarre bunch, and yet Alice couldn't get a single one of them to fall for her!
Worse still, as her affection with the characters grew, more and more character traits unlocked on their cards. That's when Alice realized something was wrong. She fell silent. She just wanted to play the game, and nobody had told her that romancing the NPCs would give her superpowers!
As a law-abiding American citizen, Alice looked at the inexplicable System that had appeared before her and quietly called the official hotline.
"Hello, is this the Justice League? I'm sorry, I think I may have some kind of mental illness. I mistakenly believe I've suddenly gained superpowers. Please take me to Arkham Asylum, thank you."
In the darkness, a crisis was gradually approaching. For the sake of world peace and the tranquility of the universe,
Alice went from playing the game by herself to having all the superheroes help her play it.
This world is one giant game!!!
Alice earnestly tried to romance the characters, but after unlocking the one-star storyline, she fell silent. Could someone explain why the sweet older girl next door was running around hacking people with an axe in the story? And, more importantly, why was her last name Wayne? Game developers, haven't you received a cease-and-desist letter from Gotham?
And that shut-in who dreamed of building a space-time machine, you really managed to build one? Wait, girl, are you for real?
Alice understood. She'd never play along with the absurdity again. The NPCs really were taking her for an idiot.

"Never fear Gotham at night."
The sea swallowed Gotham. A fleeing Robin fell on the road. The flesh and blood of gods became the finest fertilizer. The world's greatest detective was locked in an asylum. Death swept over Metropolis. Bloodthirsty wolves lurked in Bludhaven. The Amazons were forced to open their eyes amid wave after wave of apocalypse, facing their suffering alone.
The gods had already fallen. What remained was the last hero's legacy, or perhaps a gift.
"So leave it all to the cowardly."
The author isn't in the best state of mind and tends to be cryptic. This is primarily a plot-driven story. The original intention was to write about the superheroes' courage in facing disaster without ever running away, their determination to never give up, and their unwavering sense of duty.
(Actually, Dark Crisis got to me, and I wanted to take a swing at the official comics. Here, you can watch the villains curse out the official storylines for being idiotic.)
I'll always love superheroes.
The story draws on the following backgrounds: Batman: White Knight / Kingdom Come / DCeased / The Dark Knight Returns / No Man's Land / Court of Owls / DC vs. Vampires / Dark Multiverse / sequels to the Snyder Cut Justice League post-credits scenes / Darkseid War / Earth-Three, and others.
Theme: Wherever we are, we must stand by justice and stay true to ourselves.

A little suggestion for the author, you can leave a blank line every other paragraph, or leave a blank line every few paragraphs. Please refer to the formatting methods of those popular articles in the UK and the United States. Nowadays, this kind of layout always feels like there is too much information on one page, and it has a visual sense of running a running account.
