After Faking Her Death, the Real Heiress Went Mad

Main story complete

Rebellious, unhinged real heiress x frail, sensitive fake heiress

Shen Yuchan had just celebrated her coming-of-age ceremony when she suddenly learned that she had been switched at birth.

The identity she had held for eighteen years as the “Shen family’s heiress and future heir” was a lie.

Shen Yuchan: ??

Fortunately, her adoptive parents couldn’t bear to part with her and still kept her.

On the day the real heiress returned, Shen Yuchan went to greet her at the door, only to discover in shock...

The real heiress, whose place she had taken for so long, was the person she had fallen for at first sight, the girl she had always admired from afar.

-

The real heiress was healthy, talented, and beautiful, and quickly won the approval of the entire Shen family.

Shen Yuchan, by contrast, had been sickly since childhood, and wasn’t as clever as the real heiress.

Standing beside the real heiress and listening as she received flowers and applause, Shen Yuchan let her love grow wild in her heart, feeling more and more that she didn’t belong there.

Then one late night, the real heiress suddenly climbed into her bed. She pried Shen Yuchan’s lips apart, and the two clung to each other in passion.

After that, it happened night after night.

Until, not long afterward, the real heiress quietly secured the rights to inherit all of the Shen family’s wealth.

Shen Yuchan came to her senses.

...How could the real heiress truly fall in love with the fake heiress who had occupied her place for so many years? It was all just a scheme.

To keep herself from falling any deeper, Shen Yuchan faked her death and disappeared, cutting off all hope.

-

Zhao Yu had always thought of Shen Yuchan as a tool to help her seize power, a target for her schemes, and a bargaining chip.

But when Shen Yuchan truly disappeared, Zhao Yu suddenly realized that maybe there was more to it than that.
