Bachira Meguru, But Playing Volleyball?

When the "monster" in his heart suddenly vanished, Bachira Meguru lost the last person who had played soccer with him.

He became "weird" again in everyone else's eyes. He went to school alone, went home alone, kicked a ball all by himself, and listened alone to the roars of people cheering for their teammates.

The monster had abandoned him, and soccer had abandoned him, too.

Little by little, Bachira Meguru stopped playing soccer.

On his first day after transferring to Tokyo, a volleyball fell from the sky and hit Bachira Meguru on the back of the head in his own yard.

Grimacing, Bachira Meguru hit it back just like the volleyball players on TV.

"BOOM!"

The reassuring thud of it hitting someone on the back of the head rang out alongside his own sound effect. In a good mood, Bachira Meguru laughed twice, then prepared to flee the scene.

"Ding-dong!"

The doorbell in the yard rang. Bachira Meguru glanced back instinctively, saw only a strange black rooster comb, and then ran into the house with a guilty conscience.

Bachira Meguru had no idea that when he turned around, his face had been fully exposed to the other person's gaze.

From that moment on, he was stuck with him.

After soccer abandoned him, volleyball had latched on to Bachira Meguru.

Shoyo: Huh? Wait? Two puddings?

Kenma: (stops) (opens his mouth to explain) (realizes they've both started chattering away) (closes his mouth)

Bachira: Hi, big orange! I'm Bachira Meguru!
