[Western Crossover] The Everyday Building of American Jujutsu

- [Blurb] 1. Thanks for asking. I'm a Chinese person, but I've got a secret identity system for the hit Japanese anime Jujutsu Kaisen, and I've ended up in America. The America of DC plus Marvel. "I can't believe I actually got transmigrated in such a trendy way," Lin Yue muttered. "But what the hell?" I haven't even seen any of the three! "Your mission," System 996 helpfully prompted, "is to establish a Jujutsu organization on American soil." "Then at least give me some secret identities!" 996 suddenly sounded guilty. "Maybe you need to exchange construction points for them yourself?" . Shit. Forget building anything. I might as well slack off. "Once your construction progress reaches one hundred percent, you'll receive a completion reward." "*** billion dollars." ? Lin Yue, a wage slave who loved money more than life, sat bolt upright in bed despite being sick. All right, boss. Yes, boss. I'll get right on it, boss. As a hardcore social butterfly, Lin Yue was enthusiastically catching up on anime. As for America? Thanks, I'm experiencing it firsthand. But the experience includes KPIs that put her life on the line, a constant stream of Brain associates, and secret identities with the original souls crammed inside them... Yeah, I think I've been scammed. All I can say is, money's hard to earn and life is hard to swallow. - 2. This world is in chaos. Violence and evil are sweeping the globe. Good and bad alike can become fuel for wickedness. People suffer, people groan, and their twisted emotions are clouded in darkness... Jujutsu Sorcerers came into being this way, lurking alongside grotesque curses in the city's shadows. -[New York: The Great Lie] A companion who died to conceal the fact that they were still alive, a victim who crawled out of the mud only to become a perpetrator, and a completely different cursed energy system: together, they form a lie that will engulf the world. "I want" "to die surrounded by everyone." Beneath the golden-red armor, an iron heart pounded wildly, while the spider-sense of the red figure rang out frantically. "It's my grandpa's dying wish." -[Gotham: The Devouring Shadow] "I" "hate moralizing the most." Beneath the Six Eyes, passersby seemed to differ only in the size of their bones. The crimes had long been exposed, but violence couldn't truly solve the problem. The shadow beneath the moon trembled, while Gotham's fearful eyes remained fixed on the Arkham patient laughing maniacally... "Don't worry, you dark little thing over there." The white-haired young man's voice was sticky-sweet, like strawberry cake, but he held a bloody, spherical mass dripping in his hand. "I'm the strongest." -[Metropolis: The Scales of Truth] Why become a Jujutsu Sorcerer? Good people who deserve happiness get no reward. The world's fairness is just a loud slogan. I only want people to get what they deserve. Even while fighting, the god of mankind spared a moment to worry, concern almost spilling from his blue eyes. The bloodied man flung against the wall slowly raised his hands, a frenzied grin spreading across his face. "I quit." I'm done. - "We are" "Phantom Parader." Welcome to the world of jujutsu. - Content warnings, please read: 1. This is not a traditional secret identity story. (Highlighted!!!) 2. To fit the Jujutsu Kaisen characters into the Western Crossover world, most of the Jujutsu Kaisen secret identities have English names and different nationalities. (Otherwise, I'd have to keep noting their Japanese names.) 3. The pacing before the VIP chapters is slow. An original character in the second arc becomes important later. Most original characters appear in the New York arc. The first two aren't very important, and there's one in the Gotham arc. 4. The story is a slow burn. The second arc in the New York section touches on sensitive topics, which the author has handled in fragmented and subtle ways. 5. No unsolicited writing advice! Phantom Parade is the name of a Jujutsu Kaisen RPG. Because of the number of characters and the author's own ideas, the name used here is Phantom Parader. Please favorite my upcoming story, qaq [Western Crossover] Could She Be an Idiot? Blurb: Furadell is a devoted player of farming games. She's so devoted that she's either playing Stardew Valley or on her way to play Stardew Valley. What? Stardew Valley has a new crossover series? What's there to think about? I'm in. Except the game's title is... Stardew Valley: The Rich Family's Dark Secrets??? All right, all right. So it's an upgraded version of Gossip Valley? Then count me in! Everyone in the Wayne family except Alfred thinks something is off about this girl who's just returned. It's not that her identity is suspicious. There's just something weird about her! Her strange behavior includes, but isn't limited to: She rushes up to everyone, but walks away as soon as they reply. She plants crops and vegetables in the backyard and is determined to give them all her home cooking. She always catches a fish at Miller Bay, and sometimes even gets random drops like unfamiliar-brand cola and treasure chests. She never fails to go to bed at two in the morning and get up at six. But the strangest and most unacceptable thing of all is this: Furadell likes going through the trash. She's gone through every trash can in the house. The Batfamily: ... Damian: Tt. She doesn't deserve the Wayne name. Tim: I think Furadell might be hiding something. Dick: Uh, maybe Daryell is just curious? Jason: You're overthinking it. She's just an ordinary person. Bruce: (Quietly opens the manor's security feed.) The feed clearly shows Furadell and Titus. Furadell: "What dog doesn't rummage through trash? I'll teach you, Titus!" Titus: (tries to struggle) ("Woof, woof!") (fails to break free) (gives in) ? Damian points at Furadell on the screen, his voice wavering with two parts fear, three parts confusion, and five parts disbelief. "Could she really be an idiot?" Furadell: Who? Me? Well, if you say so. (Nom nom nom) Theme: Face cruelty with courage
