Beast Taming Begins with Mechanical Ascension

Mechanical engineer Tong Yu transmigrates overnight into an undocumented resident on a trash planet.

But the new world is a little strange, with supernatural creatures and advanced technological civilizations intertwined. Humans forming contracts with supernatural creatures has become commonplace, and there are two ways to grow stronger: biological evolution or mechanical ascension.

With no food and already sleeping in a trash heap, Tong Yu smiles: What do any of these problems have to do with me?

She gives up, but not entirely. While scavenging, Tong Yu returns to her old profession. Just as all her hard work is about to leave her starving to death...

A little piece of trash forcibly forms a contract with her and takes her home.

Tong Yu: ??

The little piece of trash is of unknown attributes, the lowest rank in the entire interstellar realm, a mysterious and useless supernatural creature born on the trash planet with a one-in-a-thousand chance...

Tong Yu: Everyone dies eventually, whether from unexpected events or old age. And I am going to die because of a piece of trash :)

Though life seems utterly hopeless, Tong Yu never considers giving up.

While everyone else laughs at her for forming a contract with a piece of trash, Tong Yu discovers what makes it special: it can be modified without limit!

After becoming a Beast Tamer, sunlight pours into Tong Yu's world like dawn after a long night.

Even though she is still poor, has no fresh food, and cannot see the sky beyond the trash planet.

Even though everyone she meets asks her: "You contracted with trash? Are you crazy?"

Tong Yu just smiles. "Trash? No, it's hope!"

Hope that grew amid ruins and filth, belonging to her alone.

With the blood and scars on my hands, I will bring forth a mechanical ascension.

Reading guide: 1. The heroine will have many spirit beasts, not just the little piece of trash.

2. Except for the little piece of trash, the other spirit beasts follow the usual leveling-up evolution path.

Theme: When the world is rotting and crumbling, never give up hope
