Now That We're Surviving the Paranormal, We Still Have to Go to Work?

[The blurb has been revised. If you don't like it, feel free to remove it from your favorites, sob. But the new story is good too, so please give it a chance QAQ]

You Sili never knew the world had two sides.

After an accident, her world turned upside down. During the day, she works a normal job as a wage slave with more resentment than a ghost. At night, she becomes a survivor struggling to make her way through a bizarre highway game.

Luckily, out of every 24 hours, she still gets half a day to be a normal person.

Unluckily, even after being dragged into a horror game where she could die at any moment, she still can't escape having to go to work???

When are aliens finally going to invade Earth?!

After learning that even a bizarre survival game can't stop her from having to work, You Sili falls into complete despair and just wants to give up.

And so: she won't do the beginner quests, she won't look for survival items, and she goes out of her way to provoke the supernatural.

In the beginner instance, other survivors avoid anything strange they see.

But when You Sili sees an adorable little black cat with only a head, passing by with a bright red System notification above it that reads [Lv. 10: Infant Evil Spirit, Ouroboros Wraith] (the beginner instance's max level is ten), she charges straight at it without hesitation.

Better to die beneath a kitty than to live without romance. Goodbye, awful world!!! One last thing: I don't want to go to work!!!

You Sili closes her eyes and calmly waits for death. The next second, a System notification sounds in her ear.

[Congratulations, Survivor, you've earned the achievement: Unbelievably Audacious!]

[Congratulations, Survivor, you're the only person across all beginner instances to discover the hidden supernatural rules.]

[Reward: one use of the Make Your Wish Come True rule.]

You Sili: ???

To repay the infant evil spirit for sparing her life, You Sili uses the opportunity on it without hesitation.

Later...

You Sili ends up the long-suffering servant of a short-tempered "kitty," all because of her own actions (>_

Theme: Devote your whole life to the socialist cause.
