A strange celestial phenomenon, a surge in mosquitoes, and a struggling economy cost Xiao Man her job. Fortunately, her mother called to say that some pharmaceutical factory had just opened near their home and was hiring.
She submitted her resume, passed the interview, and on her first day at work, her top priority was to memorize the company's code of conduct.
Xiao Man took the few pages her supervisor had printed out and studied them carefully, but the more she read, the stranger they seemed.
