Building a Town, Starting with a Wooden Cabin

Mei Er only planned to go camping in the mountains and make a little money on the side. She never expected to transmigrate to another world, or discover that a witch had been living in her head all along.

"Help me come back to life and carry out my grand plan for revenge. You'll get the best magic teacher on the continent, and the dream house of your dreams."

"Where's the house?"

"You'll have to build it yourself."

This witch seems a little unreliable.

But it doesn't take long for Mei Er to realize she can't go home. Faced with unknown dangers in the forest of another world and an approaching miasma, helping the witch seems to be her only choice.

After several days of instruction from her new teacher, who is supposedly a witch but also knows a little about construction, and plenty of hard work of her own, Mei Er finally finishes the house before the miasma arrives.

At the time, Mei Er has no idea this is only the first step in building her new home.

After passing the final trial, the hero sets off on his quest to slay the dragon, cheered on by everyone.

He needs to find the sharpest sword, the strongest shield, and the toughest armor.

He arrives at the fabled town and, surrounded by a crowd, meets the mayor.

"Wow, look how big you've gotten," the mayor says with a warm smile. "You probably don't remember me, but I held you when you were little."

The True Good General Store

Mei Zhen feels like she only blinked, and the sunny, lush forest before her eyes has turned pitch-black.

Where is she?

She can't see anything, but she often hears people walking back and forth in front of her.

"How long has this human been here?"

"Several weeks, I think."

"Should we give her another shot of sedative?"

"We're out. The colleague from the tech plane won't be back until next week."

"When is the boss back from vacation?"

"According to the System, another month."

"Then let's wait until the boss gets back... Hey, wait. I think I just saw her blink!"

After learning from the person supposedly in charge that she can't go home, Mei Er struggles with it for a while, then chooses to accept the truth.

The boss says he can give her a job and a place to stay.

But the so-called accommodations turn out to be an office in the place where she already lives, and it doesn't even have a bed.

Fortunately, the boss also gives her something that can open a passage to any time or place, saying she can go home for a visit whenever she misses it.

The idea of opening a snack shop in the break room occurs to Mei Zhen the moment she sees the empty factory and its robots endlessly making perfectly packaged snacks.

It would also solve the problem of the company's employees having such terrible, monotonous food.

When she realizes the snack shop is filling up with more and more odd things, Mei Zhen takes the little blackboard that says [True Good Snack Shop], changes the wording around, and finally settles on a new name: [True Good General Store].
