Her Majesty, the Insect Mother of the Junkyard

Louis has a special constitution. Though he is a man, he keeps attracting strange declarations of love from other men. When the planet he lives on is conquered by the Zerg, he thinks he's doomed, only for them to mistake him for a worker grub who had been stranded among humans.

The most noble of the Zerg are the queens, worshiped by the entire race even if they haven't appeared for many years. The least valued are the worker grubs. They have to do all kinds of odd jobs and charge into battle when the time comes.

Oh well. Being alive is lucky enough. Louis begins his thoroughly ordinary life hauling bricks among the Zerg.

Until his wing roots start secreting honey.
