Clear Skies for Miles

At the height of her fame as a top-tier star, Cheng Lulu had a very public falling-out with her former agency. The two sides even ended up in court, and swore never to have anything to do with each other again.

But years later, backstage at an event, Cheng Lulu ran into the person in charge of her former agency in a narrow passage. Cheng Lulu was dazzling in the limelight, while the other woman stood beside someone else. They looked at each other across the crowd. Before the woman could turn and leave, Cheng Lulu shouted, "Qu Yu, why aren't you saying hello to me?"

Under everyone's astonished gaze, Qu Yu turned back and smiled. "Miss Lulu, long time no see."

* Not your typical entertainment-industry story. Everyone's just working for a living.
