Before marrying Zhuang Changyue, Tang Yi knew he had a white moonlight in his heart. Day and night, he would tell her how infatuated he was with this woman.

He would tell her everything, including how old his white moonlight was, what she liked to eat, what kind of clothes she wore, and how she was naturally beautiful despite never wearing makeup.

Even the melodramatic fact that she was dating his friend while secretly pining for his older brother became, in his telling, a story of her unchanging devotion.

Tang Yi thought this hopeless romantic was beyond saving. But with the house and money promised in their marriage contract in mind, she could only treat him with utmost care and consideration. If he said east, she wouldn't go west. If he said his white moonlight was wonderful, she wouldn't say a bad word about her.

Because she knew her place, Zhuang Changyue began looking at her more and more fondly, and even offered to grant her a wish.

Tang Yi said, "Then let me get a lover, too. Don't worry, I'll keep them well hidden."

They were in a marriage of convenience, only putting on a show for their parents on holidays and at most holding hands. Tang Yi thought her request was perfectly reasonable.

But she never expected Zhuang Changyue to be unable to accept it. He gritted his teeth and said, "Say that again. What do you want?!"
