This Male Insect Is a Little Strange (Reborn)

[This novel will go premium on August 1, Thursday. A chapter of ten thousand characters will be released then. Stay tuned!]

Luo Lai never thought he would get to come back.

He had personally caused that male insect to fall from his position as an exceptionally powerful and arrogant high-ranking female insect. He had witnessed him die and rot with his own eyes. Even after time returned to the beginning, all Luo Lai could think was... that female insect would be better off without him.

The above is the serious blurb. Here's the less serious one:

A certain "scumbag" insect before he worked through his issues: Hurry up and leave. Don't try to pin this on me. I run into hundreds, if not a thousand, female insects like you every day, making excuses to talk to me. I don't like female insects!

A certain "scumbag" insect after he worked through his issues: She's my wife! How can I just trade her for someone else? If I lose my wife, I don't want to live either!

Before marriage: I might not be able to give you much pheromone. Are you still willing?

After marriage: My lord, didn't you say there wouldn't be much pheromone?

The taciturn one is busy burying himself in research on interesting ways to use pheromones.

Reading guide:

1. Top-focused story, with mutual salvation.

2. The top was a straight man in his previous life. He did many terrible things to protect himself, and after being reborn, he initially only wanted to run away.

3. The insectoid setting is fictional and has nothing to do with reality. Please don't conflate the two.

4. The author's mood is up and down. This novel is part of my return to writing, so please be gentle in the comments.
