The Retired Hero Is Busy Even Underground [Western Fantasy]

After completing his mission, Hero A hastily retired.

Amid the bloodshed and flames, he saw through the truth behind so-called "fate."

Being called a hero was like a curse.

Fate had generously granted him extraordinary power and good fortune, but it had also severed his family ties and arbitrarily burdened him with the heavy responsibility of carrying the whole world on his shoulders.

Years of endless suffering had left scars that could never heal on the soul that once shone so brightly.

After retiring, Hero A considered himself a gloomy, useless shut-in. When a new hero appeared on the continent, he finally felt at ease and chose to call it quits.

But...

Can someone tell him why there really is a world after death?!

Here, he ran into friends and family who had passed away years ago.

Those who had arrived before him had unexpectedly made a good life for themselves here, and they were all fighting over who got to take care of him, the lazy good-for-nothing.

Hero A, no longer used to being loved or fussed over, quietly tried to escape.

Who knew the cold-blooded supreme governor would take a liking to him, leading to a comedy about an overbearing governor and his pretty male secretary, set in Hell.

One day, the governor put a mirror in his office that was supposedly connected to the mortal world.

Curious, Hero A lifted the cloth covering it, only to see...

The sadistic villain who had once gone to such lengths to hunt him down was collecting his "relics" in an attempt to revive him.

The third prince, who had sneered at him for being common-born, was laughing to himself late at night as he [censored] over his portrait, again and again.

The new hero was neglecting his duties every day, charging all over the continent like an ox just to find his "master"... Wait, when did he take on a disciple?

Shaken to the core, Hero A turned around with a trembling heart,

only to find the governor, who had returned without him noticing, staring at him with a humorless smile.

"Heh."

One-on-one, with the top as the pursuer.

The top is a retired hero who calls himself a useless shut-in but is actually beloved by everyone, a beautiful, tragic strongman with long blond hair and blue eyes, who can also wield a greatsword. In the past, he got used to hiding his face because traveling all over the continent brought unwanted advances from all sorts of strange beings.

The bottom is Hell's supreme governor, roughly the strongest character in the story. He has black hair and black eyes, and though he looks cold, he has long had plans for the top.
