A story in the same series as Star Shines on Me and Racing Along the Cliff
*A female star determined to become a powerful player x a real tycoon pretending to be a harmless little bunny
Song Xiran is a washed-up newcomer who has just debuted. She's beautiful and a good actress, but she keeps losing roles because she refuses to sleep her way to them.
After finally signing with a major company, she learns that the last actress to date during her rise to fame was replaced in her role. Her manager pulls her aside and earnestly advises her, "Either get famous or leave the industry."
Song Xiran nods in agreement.
The problem is, she's already been secretly dating someone for a month.
Her boyfriend, Wen Ze, is an extra she met while looking for work in Hengdian.
His face is handsome enough to insure, but he's even less famous than she is. In three months, he hasn't landed a single role.
The day before she joins the cast, Song Xiran sends Wen Ze all the acting fees she's just earned. "Breakup money. Once I become a powerful player, I'll make you a leading man."

After they break up, Song Xiran works hard to become a powerful player. She goes from playing a villainous supporting role to starring in a smash hit, lands a top-tier movie, becomes the face of international luxury brands, and gains countless fans, rising to become the industry's most enduring top-tier star.
After seven years of working without a break, she signs her own artists and becomes a true power player.
That night, unable to sleep, she sends a text to the number that has been silent for seven years.
"Hi, are you still in showbiz? I can get you a leading role now."
Three minutes later, she gets a reply.
"You scammer! I've reported you to the National Anti-Fraud Center!"
He had already changed his number.

When she hears that one of her artists has gotten into trouble, Song Xiran rushes to Hengdian.
Just as she's about to stand up for her, the girl stops her. "Sister Xi, wait. My brother says he'll handle it."
Song Xiran remembers that her brother, Ji Mingze, is a famous power player in the industry.
Before long, a familiar voice sounds at the door.
The elegant man is dressed in a suit, but his expression is as cold as a glacier. He coolly instructs his assistant, "Move my sister to the presidential suite. Is this dump even fit for people to stay in?"
Song Xiran's heart stops.
The man only glances at her, his expression unchanged. "And move her too. If you can't take good care of her, terminate her contract immediately."
Ji Mingze. Wen Ze.
So even his name was fake.
