· Female lead: ENFP. Male lead: INTP. A showdown between an extrovert and an introvert

Yan Zhi met a man with a face she couldn't get out of her mind, but his heart was as hard as stone.

Somehow, they had a one-night stand, and her secret identity was exposed.

She took one step forward, and he took one step back;

when she was about to retreat, he edged closer again.

Yan Zhi was worn down by his game of push and pull, so she had to turn to her music buddy, Deer, on the "Listen Together" feature.

Deer shared the same MBTI as her crush, Lin Chen. Their tastes were similar, making Deer almost the perfect person to ask for advice.

She had to admit Deer knew what he was doing. His advice was always effective, and whenever she asked him for help, she somehow ended up summoning Lin Chen by accident.

But... weren't there a few too many coincidences?

Yan Zhi teased him, "He's completely impervious now. The progress bar's stopped working. Maybe I should stop pursuing him and turn around and pursue you instead?"

Deer answered a different question: "He likes you."

Before long, the two seemed to have grown closer, but Yan Zhi always felt that he kept his inner thoughts deeply hidden.

After all their back-and-forth, Yan Zhi finally resolved to cut off this "bad romance."

That very night, Lin Chen, who should have been a thousand miles away, appeared at her door, travel-worn.

Lin Chen's eyes softened as he drawled, "You said if you stopped pursuing him, you'd turn around and pursue me instead. Did you mean it?"

Lin Chen was a rising star in the IT industry who had built his success from scratch. He was handsome and had a wonderful presence, yet he had been single for more than twenty years and had never dated a woman.

People around him used to think he must have offended the God of Matchmaking in a past life.

But nobody knew there was someone in his heart.

Lin Chen had tried to get close to her, but whenever he made a move, she ran away.

Perhaps he feared she would run off again, or perhaps he worried she didn't truly "love" him. Lin Chen kept himself in check and hid his love well.

Until one day, when she really decided to give up, Lin Chen finally panicked and risked everything to make her stay.

"He likes you."

He had always liked you, and he had always been waiting for you.

"With you, I listen to the wind and gaze at the stars after dark.

I vow we'll never part, with the sky as our witness."

[Reading Guide]

· The leads are each other's Soulmate and love the same music, so lots of songs are mentioned in the story. Just treat them as background music.

· Romance is the focus, with Cantonese pop as a secondary element, alongside the leads' career storylines.

· The "Listen Together" feature is from NetEase Cloud Music.

Theme: Cantonese pop is not dead, and neither is romance.
