The Right (Wrong) Way to Play Casual Games

After watching the ads who knows how many times, the words "Perfect Clear" on the phone screen are a frightening shade of red.

After tapping Uninstall, Tiao Yuehui starts looking for her next target in the game store.

While casually scrolling down, he accidentally taps a game pop-up that suddenly appears.

An ordinary, unremarkable casual game. Not interested.

Just as Tiao Yuehui is about to swipe it away, a game video opens automatically.

Roar! The moment I saw you, I knew you were my destined silver-haired, green-eyed wife!

A casual game? I love those!

Though it claims to offer a high degree of freedom, Tiao Yuehui can already guess what it's about.

Either you suddenly inherit a farm, or your rich dad leaves you an inheritance, or you get sick of city life and move back to the village where your grandma used to live. Whatever the details, it's always more or less the same.

But after customizing his character and eagerly entering the game, none of those things happen. Instead, a huge fist comes flying at him.

Tiao Yuehui: Meow, meow, meow! Something feels off here!

At some point, a person with something wrong with his brain starts hanging around Kurosawa.

The first time they meet, the guy shouts like a madman that he's Number One (No. 1). Kurosawa punches him.

The second time they meet, the guy takes Kurosawa's chocolate and brazenly says he's going to give it to him. Kurosawa punches him again.

After countless similar incidents, Kurosawa finally realizes the guy isn't provoking him. He really is crazy.

He rummages through trash cans during missions, often mutters bizarre things to himself, and gives out weird, strange gifts. Kurosawa can put up with all that. He just hopes the guy stops swinging his underwear around.
