My Secret Identity and I Are Both Pretty Weird

Here's a preview of my upcoming story, The Right (Wrong) Way to Play a Casual Game. The blurb is at the very bottom. Ye Yan wanted to enjoy a convention for once, so he worked overtime for an entire week. Right after he finally got time off, he died suddenly from a combination of sheer excitement and exhaustion. After that, Ye Yan was bound to a secret identity System. Thinking back on his life as a corporate wage slave, Ye Yan decided to let loose. And so, Ye Yan appeared in Yokohama, fleeing on the back of a huge black tiger. "I'm really not the weretiger you're talking about!" Ye Yan, wearing the secret identity of a corrupted Gokotai, shouted at the killer behind him. Killer: "I don't believe you. Then why do you have a tiger?" Ye Yan: "...Having a tiger doesn't make someone a weretiger." Having learned from last time, Ye Yan decided to use a more common secret identity this time. Wearing the guise of an ordinary onmyoji, he looked at the strangely shaped cursed spirit before him and tried out his innate skill. He casually subdued it as a shikigami. Unfortunately, the Six Eyes prodigy happened to see it. The Six Eyes prodigy poked the weird-haired guy beside him. "It's the same technique. Could you be related?" Ye Yan: "This has to be a setup, right?" The Six Eyes prodigy: "Be good and come back to Jujutsu High with us!" After the first two worlds, Ye Yan decided to use his real self. Thinking of how ordinary he'd been in life, he figured this time he wouldn't get caught up in any important plotlines. Unfortunately, a System malfunction brought to life the edgy character details he'd made up during his chuunibyou phase and put them on him. In the mirror, his short black hair was streaked with blue, and the crow tattoo on his neck looked lifelike. Ye Yan covered his face in embarrassment. Who hasn't gone through an edgy rebellious phase? Just as he was gradually coming to terms with reality, someone knocked at the door. He covered his tattoo and opened it, only to find a police officer standing outside. Ye Yan suddenly had a bad feeling. Sure enough, there was an elementary school student behind the officer. Ah, Conan!!! Forced to accept that this was the world he'd ended up in, Ye Yan thought of his crow tattoo. It's hopeless. Let it all burn! 1. Characterization may be out of character. Please don't read if that's not your thing. 2. Lots of original details. 3. The timeline has been heavily altered. 4. Irregular updates, probably every other day? 5. Amateur writing. 6. After watching what felt like countless ads, the words "Perfect Clear" glowed an alarming red on the phone screen. After uninstalling the game, Tiao Yuehui began looking for his next target in the game store. While casually scrolling, he accidentally tapped a game pop-up that suddenly appeared. An utterly ordinary casual game. Not interested. Just as Tiao Yuehui was about to swipe it away, a game video opened automatically. Whoa! The moment I saw you, I knew you were my destined silver-haired, green-eyed wife! Casual games! I love playing them! Although it claimed to offer a high degree of freedom, Tiao Yuehui could already guess what the game would be about. Either he'd suddenly inherit a ranch, or a rich father would leave him an inheritance, or he'd grow tired of city life and move back to the village where his grandmother once lived. In short, it'd be one of those familiar setups. But after customizing his character and eagerly entering the game, none of those things happened. All he saw was a gigantic fist flying at him. Tiao Yuehui: Meow meow meow! Something feels off here! At some point, a weirdo with a screw loose appeared by Kurosawa's side. The first time they met, the other guy crazily shouted that he was Number One (No. 1). Kurosawa punched him. The second time they met, the other guy took his chocolate and shamelessly said he wanted to give it to him. Kurosawa punched him again. After countless similar incidents, Kurosawa finally realized the other guy wasn't provoking him. He really did have a screw loose. He rummaged through trash cans during missions, muttered bizarre things to himself, and gave out weird, unsettling gifts. Kurosawa could put up with all that.
