After I Left My Husband and Child Behind

While waiting in line outside a male model bar, Xiao Li is tugged by the hem of her dress by a little boy. "Mom!"

The boy looks a little like her, and the moment he calls out in his childish voice, everyone nearby turns to look.

Xiao Li's lips twitch as she tries to pull her dress back. "Little boy, you've got the wrong person..."

"No, I couldn't be wrong. Dad shows me your photos every day. You're my mom." The boy clings to her skirt and calls over his shoulder, "Dad, I found Mom!"

Xiao Li quickly follows his gaze. A handsome, refined man with an elegant air is walking toward her. For a moment, her mind goes blank and she feels like flirting with him, but she quickly shakes off the thought and says, "Hello, sir. Your son has mistaken me for someone else."

"Did you hear that?" The man crouches down and gently peels the boy's fingers from her skirt one by one. "Let's go. Mom stopped wanting us a long time ago."
