Insomniac Matchmaker

Launching in September 2026 ^^

On her first night at university, Shen Yujia experienced her first bout of insomnia.

The bed was too hard, the air conditioner too loud, the moonlight too bright...

After Ke Lingchuan, the campus heartthrob she had secretly loved for three years in high school, gave a speech on behalf of the freshmen that day, he seemed to have become the university heartthrob too.

She forced herself to close her eyes and sleep, but suddenly heard a curious voice.

[The Insomnia Matching System is now launching. Congratulations, you've been connected!]

[Share what's troubling you. Once the other person has helped you work through it, you'll both be able to sleep peacefully.]

[Note: The voice has been blurred. Please do not try to learn the other person's personal information.]

Shen Yujia tried, "...Hello?"

The other person was so aloof she could only hear him breathing.

"My problem is that I've fallen for a guy, but he doesn't know me," she asked in a tiny voice. "Any ideas?"

"Boring." He sounded completely indifferent. "I want to sleep."

Shen Yujia got mad too, and neither of them said another word.

Neither of them slept a wink that night.

After this went on for several nights, Shen Yujia lost it. "Please, for the love of God, say something. I really want to sleep."

The voice on the other end sounded exhausted too. "I'll help you get that guy. Do you have his class schedule? Let's arrange to bump into him tomorrow."

They both had the best night's sleep of their lives.

A good night's sleep seemed to bring good luck.

The next day, Ke Lingchuan bumped into his secret high school crush in class.

Unfortunately, she didn't seem to recognize him.

They passed each other without saying hello.
