Vivid and Fragrant

In Dongting Lake live merfolk, who dwell in the water like fish. They are beautiful, with bewitching voices. After three hundred years, they grow wings and transform into giant birds, their wings spanning heaven and earth. When merfolk appear, the human world sees abundant rain and harvests, and lotuses bloom.
