Jiang Ye arrived in a strange place.

It looked no different from the world he had come from: blue skies, white clouds, a red sun, reading, walking dogs, and taking strolls. But wasn't it all a little too peaceful?

Then a stranger in uniform burst in. "Free time is over. Line up by number. It's time to go back!"

Only then did Jiang Ye realize what the wristband on his right hand was for: monitoring them.

Jiang Ye thought he was about to be taken indoors and locked away, but it turned out he had been inside a building all along.

This building contained mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, snowstorms, rain, mist, the sun, the moon, stars, and a forest of steel. It was called "Dream Island."

But the people outside called it

The Black Tower

.

"Your enemies aren't Dream Island, but the unconventional lifeforms outside."

But could those things even be called "life"?
